About us

The story about us is very colourful. Our story started in 2012 when I moved to Johannesburg and started Joubert Electrical. I am a qualified electrician with my wiremen’s license. We started off as most small companies by just getting along and then decided to move our efforts to solar and battery backup. Since then, the company has had highs and lows due to the economy and other factors. We are today still just as dedicated as we were back then but with over a decade of experience in solar and battery backup systems.

We specialize in Victron with Lithium batteries. We sell all the needed parts or combos to any installer who needs to sort out their clients. We also do turnkey solutions with our dedicated staff where we monitor power consumption and design a system custom to the client's needs or pocket. We also build, install, integrate, and sign off on our projects.

We can thus sell you a system combo or design your system to cater for all your needs. We can do anything from a small backup system to fully integrated solar/battery systems for large businesses, factories, and farms to be partially or even completely of the grid. This also includes generator supply and integration into our smart Victron systems to maintain battery capacity and carry loads if or when needed.

All of this has been our pride over the last decade and will pride ourselves in our work and after-sales service for many decades to come.

We urge customers to ask as many questions as possible so we can deliver the service they deserve.
